Ok, so the sweater. My bass player's sweater. THE sweater.
It's been 2 years now. I promised him a swaeter, and he chose a sweater without a pattern. Mistake #1: Allowing him to choose a swaeter without a pattern. Mistake #2: Thinking I could reverse-engineer it without loads of freakin' help. On the plus side, and with the help of a dear friend, I've learned a thing or two. I have a better understanding of how to do this should I want to do it for MYSELF (o_O), but we're already 80% down the road and there's no turning back, so I won't continue with that thought. I KNOW I can complete this sweater on my own. So what's stopping me?
Sheer, unadulerated, fear. Fear of just completely f-ing it up. How stupid is that?? The only cure is to slam down a G&T (for gumption), make sure I have at least 2 hours at my disposal and "Just Do Eeeeet!!!"
I think Nike should change "it" to "eet". It's funnier.
