So, I'm sure I've lost all my followers by now. But no matter.
Suffice it to say, I've been busy. I stopped knitting all together for a while there. I know, right? But I had a bit of a burn out point with EVERYTHING, not just knitting but I've been concentrating on my dream, which is to get myself to a position where I am able to support myself through my music, and without even realizing it, I'm in the midst of making that very thing come true. Now how this relates to knitting is this. I'll have that hour or two, more often than I do now, to knit and rekindle old knitting relationships with WIPs and friends and all kinds of good things like that. But these things take time. I mean, it's no easy feat to just up and quit the job and be like "OK, let's go! Oh, wait. I gotta eat. " so yeah. There's that.
In any case, I'm glad I'm taking the time to write here again. It's been a long while. I've picked up my juno Regina that i started and ripped a total of at least 10 times since I cast on for it, and I'm finally in the "boring" part of the pattern, which is the 42 or so inches of sparse openwork knitting to work until I get to the other side and knit the other lace pattern. Yay! Progress...good!
In addition to that, I started to get my wheel back in order. My wheel is currently at my mother's house while I try and rid myself of 2/3 of my possessions. I was hoping this would be easy but...c'est la vie. In any case, I brought the wrong roving to spin, so I treadled a while. Need to find out what that 'click' is on the left treadle.
So there it is. I'm not dead, just tired. And busy. And tired.
I'll get moving again soon. I promise (more to myself than y'all...you understand, right? :)
